The works in the series were created using a technique involving repeated photography, printing, removal, and re-photographing. At each stage, different elements, such as print parts, shadows, or a new background, were added, and new spatial and temporal layers thus accumulated. The materials I used in this work were antiques from the family-owned marble factory, walls from my childhood home which I collected after its demolition and photographed in the studio, objects that were discarded when the house was evacuated, whose fate is unknown to me, etc. The multiplicity of elements and their intersection provided me with an opportunity to re-examine my family narrative and create a new family archaeology.
